If you are visiting Veliky Novgorod you should reserve at Volkhov. The hotel looks like it´s renovated and the rooms are very clean. The atmosphere all around was perfect.

I have booked the room for 3 days with my spouse. Beds were being big enough and the space was usually pretty clean. The personnel have been extremely handy and welcoming and always made us feel welcome. Rooms are big plus the closet. The bathroom was pretty clean and the shower was great. Not a super social hotel however, maybe it was like this all along our stay.
